About
The Blu Mantic, born Matiwane D Mathews II, is a dynamic American artist originally from Killeen, Texas. After relocating to Brooklyn in 2009 and studying theater acting, Blu embarked on a full-time indie artist career in 2014, facing homelessness and even journeying to Warsaw, Poland. Known for lyrically rich tracks, he made history as the first American featured on the XXL freshman-style collaboration, MÅ‚ode Wilki 5, and has opened for artists like Smif-n-Wessun and Jamiroquai, capturing international acclaim.
